Macaroni Steam & Bavarian Beef Pie


Hi brazen

Did the Macaroni Bake and Bavarian Beef crust pie in the Varoma. I will publish my methods later. Need to spend time writing rather than Blog Surfing.
The Macaroni worked well - except I did cut back a bit on the amount of milk as it was being steamed. Tasted great & texture was good too - custardy.

i think you're going to convert me to the varoma (eventually lol). shame you're not in canberra so you could give us a demo!

I can cope with steaming fish & vegetables, but I have difficulty with the concept of steaming red meat or chicken - something to do with the texture perhaps? But they do look good.
